Three kids with autism – Kennedy, Alex and Bella – skate at the 2013 ISI Open competition in Anaheim

As parents we need to help our kids.  When Kennedy, Alex and Bella were diagnosed they all had different stimming behavior.  One they had in common was spinning.  We tried to get them to stop and that didn’t work so we tried to find a way to make it useful.  How can spinning be useful?  Well if you do it on a golf course it looks weird but if you do it on an ice skating rink, then that becomes a skill.
